 programs that teach members looking to enter the workforce early in their career the basics of what it means to have a job, often teaching important soft skills necessary to be successful in the workforce.

HIRED Youth Employment Services

• Provides coaching, support, and training to help 16-24 year olds complete a diploma or GED, explore careers, and gain employment in a field they are passionate about
• Offers basic wraparound support services, including job or internship placement

Avivo Youth Employment Services

• Connect with a career counselor to created customized employment services to accomplish life and career goals
• Offers basic wraparound support services, including job and  internship placement
• Access to chemical and mental health services

African Immigration Community Services

• Provides culturally responsive services to help meet the needs of East African immigrants
• Connect to a mentor, participate in work-readiness training, and gain access to online courses to complete certificate programs to help learn skills to get high-demand careers
• English language learning support

Emerge Youth Services

• Provides employment assistance to residents of North Minneapolis, including specialized services for those who may have high barriers to employment (e.g. re-entry from incarceration or juvenile justice system)
• One to one career coaching
